SEULGI CHOI, biography

Seulgi Choi was born in Seoul, Korea, 5/15/79. She emigrated to the United States in 1985 , became a U.S. citizen, and grew up in California. She acquired her photographic training in Los Angeles City College and the University of Southern California, and has been a freelance photo journalist with work published in various local and national newspapers and magazines.

Ms. Choi's first photographic collection, For The Love of Women, was published by Media Maestro in 2007, her second, Touche, in 2011, and her most recent work of science fiction, Behold A Pale Horse, is slated for release in early 2018.

Ms. Choi has been active in and a spokesperson for gay and lesbian causes throughout her adult life, but her upcoming science fiction novel is obviously focused on the major market and has a universal appeal that all should enjoy. She currently lives in Los Angeles and is an infrequent contributor to ethnic and major print venues there.
